Errors when trying to install atom

These two commands together fixed the problem.

Definitely different than straight Ubuntu.  After I tried Moun Discover 
with no hits the Moun Update Manager popped up on its own. It displayed 
a bunch of updates available including the 3 packages I had searched 
for.  When I clicked on update all after a bit it reported an error but 
clicking on the details button did not produce any details of the error. 
I tried again but just choose the first package and that worked.   At 
that point a different style list box popped up and offered more 
updates, This time all the updates processed ok.
