Why should it be more dangerous for Windows users?
Btw. organisations such as the NSA don't need exploits, they already
benefit from the bloated code of browsers such as Firefox.
On my machine I need around 1½ hours to compile a kernel with a
default Ubuntu configuration and around 3½ hours to compile a default
Firefox from upstream. Compiling a lot of other complex applications
often takes less than 60 seconds.
