Has it ever worked in this setup or did it stop working after something happened? If so can you think as to what might have changed to break it?

Hello, my uncle uses Ubuntu 14.04 lts, he uses Thunderbird e-mail who can't receive mail but sending is good.
I looked at the pop3 account but it's all ok.
Even i called the e-mail host.
