Ok, just in case it matters, the OS is 12.04, and I get this:

okular -v
Qt: 4.8.1
KDE Development Platform: 4.8.5 (4.8.5)
Okular: 0.14.3

You try and keep everything running smoothly, but apparently,
like MilSpecs, dev/debug messages are forever.....:-)
