I’ve had that problem before with ati cards, when using the proprietary drivers. To fix the ati problem I adjusted the underscan / overscan setting ;


aticonfig --set-pcs-val=MCIL,DigitalHDTVDefaultUnderscan,0



would fix it is there a comparable setting in the NVidia driver?
