Of course I can wait.  I get that.  I think I understand the situation.  My
understanding is that Shuttleworth has signaled to everyone that Ubuntu
will adopt systemd ASAP.  He also made it clear that that won't happen in
time for the LTS.

It seems like the plan is to wait for things to be sorted in debian, then
sort out the ubuntu side, and I'm sure that kubuntu will fit into that time
scale conservatively.

So clearly systemd is the future, but people are running, playing with, and
learning about systemd now.  And I just want to play with it myself while
the hype has caught my attention.  No insults or drama intended.

The wiki page (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/systemd) is very out of date, so I
figured I would ask here.
