When I use *buntus and Debian, I use Synaptic, I prefer Arch, however,
Synaptic is a backend for apt and only does use different terms for
options provided by apt. Synaptic is helpful for me, since I'm more
familiar with Arch, but apt seems to be a better choice for those who
know how to use it.
