Strange reply from IMAP server sending from KMail

In whatever email application that you are using try to leave the
setting for sent messages' folder/location unconfigured. I believe such
was an advice in Google's IMAP configuration instructions. Sent messages
will always end up in Gmail's 'Sent Mail' "folder".
