Ubuntu 13.10 no internet

Hello,
My sisters laptop with Ubuntu 13.04 upgradeded to 13.10 and no internet anymore. Wired and wireless no connection, the RTL8101E/RTL8102E controller is in the laptop.
Is this a known problem?
