External Backup Disk Drive

Fr.Denis Carter,

I have plugged in power supply to the unit and connected the unit to the usb port with USB connector. There is "Power" on light that however turns "steady green" ONLY when the connection is detected by OS. In my case, since it is not detected, the green light does not glow.

Using Gparted, however, the external drive IS detected by the utility and hence the Green-light does glow.

Thanks for your suggestion anyway.

Ramesh
