Tubed by Youtube

Hi gang;

Using 12.04 here. I've had DVDs working for a while now,
but youtube is still a nightmare. All I get is a white
section where videos once played. There are some
thumbnails on the right, but clicking on them just brings
up another white screen. This after a bunch of flash
updates, and/or alternatives. Medibuntu files don't do
anything for it either. Oh yeah, I'm using firefox.

It took a site with a bunch of files to download, (don't
remember which one), to get the DVDs working, is there
something similar for screwtu...er, I mean, youtube?
