Yes please do. JFYI: Top posting is frowned upon pretty much
everywhere in mailing lists, that "ubuntulinux" group is a very rare
exception. Top posting totally breaks the natural reading flow and it
makes following threads absolutely dreadful.

It might be a good idea to task the moderators of that "ubuntulinux"
group to adhere to what is the standard in the Ubuntu namespace: not
top posting, no HTML, observing quoting rules.
