Why don't 'you' get rid of that abominable cashew widget by installing a
widget called Py Cashew?

Go to Add Widgets and Download More Widgets (or whatever it's called)
and type in 'Py' - download it and install it like any normal widget.
And the cashew is gone!

If in System Settings>Workspace Behaviour>Virtual Desktops you have set
Different widgets for each desktop then you will need to add this Py
Cashew widget to each desktop to get rid of the cashew on each virtual
desktop.
