Widgets look after 4.10 upgrade

Hello to all,

After I did an upgrade to 12.04.01 machine to 4.10 some of the widgets I
got on the screen look with rather ugly edges. Also the notifications when
I click on icon on the task bar are all transparent and cannot be seen
properly.

What can be the cause? Anyone knows the way to sort it out?  Thanks.
