Radeon open driver install

Hello all,
I put my old Ati Radeon 9250 in my sisters pc connected with s-video to her tv.I know that the Ati don't support the card anymore, but how can i install the Radeon driver instead of the Vesa?If someone can tell me how to install a working open software i would be happy.
