Apparently specific Firefox - Youtube sound problem.

Hello Everybody,

ever since a few weeks I have a specific sound problem with Youtube in
combination with Firefox; when playing a video there via Firefox, I do
not get any sound. On the other hand, I DO get sound in all other
situations possible: for sure in the case of sound files or radio
streams: both via Firefox and via clients like Amarok  and VLC, Even
videos at other websites -outside Youtube- come correctly, together
with their sound. Even when opening Youtube with another browser, like
Chromium, I do get the sound normally and correctly.  So I am
wondering whether I need to change something in the settings of
Firefox in order to get the sound back when playing a video.

Any thoughts, ideas?
