first delete the recovery partition then move/shink
Win8 to to say 50 gb of additional free space. Then create the extended 
partition, Then create an win NTFS partition say 14 gb
Then use Win6 to do a backup of Win8 Then you can install Kubuntu to the 
remaining free space.
