Same here. My laptops are really nothing more than glorified display engines. I 
keep everything in various cloud providers (Google and Dropbox, mostly) and 
just sync to the laptops.

That said, I'm becoming a bit worried that Google has too much of my stuff. So 
I'm in the process of learning OwnCloud, using the free tier at Amazon Web 
Services. I like OwnCloud very much. Once version 4 comes out, and I get some 
hands-on time with it, I plan to migrate everything away from Google et. al. 
and move everything to my own OwnCloud. Not sure yet whether I'll keep it in 
AWS or try a different provider. I've got about a terabyte of movies, music, 
and photos; I think AWS will be somewhat expensive for all that.
