Kubuntu 11.10 won'1t boot after upgrade.

Hi Guys,

I just did a routine package upgrade and restarted (I recall it might have
been a KDE upgrade), and now it is stuck in a permanent boot screen.

Any ideas what might have happened and what I should do?
