Note that I certainly do not have any influence apart from being a user,
I just read Jonathan's blog and found the idea interesting. I happen to
agree with Kubuntu not being a particularly "good name" but very
obviously a lot of the members of the list do not.
Other distros have managed namechanges over the years for various
reasons so I see no particular reason why not and couple it with
marketing efforts and then who knows?
