Nepomukindexer eats cpu

Since roughly a week the "nepomukindexer" process starts using cpu 
heavily after login. I have tried to "wait it out" but no luck, I have 
to kill it manually to cool down the computer.

What is this process, what does it do and does anyone experience the 
same behaviour?

Anyone have an idea of why this suddenly has started and what I could do 
about it?

Am using Kubuntu 11.04 upgraded to KDE SC 4.7
