OK, I have installed that. but I can't see any difference. When I look
at the add-ons list in Mint it includes Java Plugin 1.6.0_26. When I try
to add a similar plug-in for Kubuntu 11.10 (in VBox) I can't find
anything matching that layout. As I said, when I installed Mint 10 KDE
the Firefox plug-in was already set up automatically. And there are lots
of others in Mint, eg Adobe Reader, Quick Time, mplayer etc. I did not
have to manually install any of them.
So I must have missed a trick somewhere!!
