No, I didn't know that I had to. But, yes I have now. It asked a few questions, all except the to
last I answered in the affirmative and then let it write to /etc/modules and restart some module
(can't remember the name now) which didn't restart it just ended with stop/waiting and returned
me to a prompt.
I waited a bit and then rebooted. I now have my temperature options in gkrellm - thank you!
Not sure why I had to do all of that as I never had to in all of my fresh installs plus the
Bubblemon plasmoid was able to show temperatures before I installed and ran lm-sensors.
