Hi Bruce,

Kmail has some bad problems and even those who are 'developing' it say 
so and suggest that one uses, temporarily or otherwise, say, Thunderbird.

There is nothing wrong with KDE (I am using KDE 4.7.3) - it's fine, but 
I don't use kmail (I use TB) and don't use Akonadi's features.
