can not save openoffice spreadsheets in libreoffice

I can't remember if it's possible to purge (completely remove, including 
config files) using Kpackagekit, when I was running Kubuntu I mostly 
used Synaptic. Maybe in some right click menu? Otherwise you have to use 
the terminal: sudo apt-get purge <package name>
