Urgently help needed to get back "Kontact".

In your renamed kde-old directory under the "share/apps" directory kmailare 
directories named "kmail", "korganizer", "kaddressbook" and "kabc". I bet 
copying these into your new ".kde/share/apps" fixes your problem.
