Problem with LDAP and kmail

I can't get LDAP to work with kmail/kontact.
The ldap server is using  SSL/TLS and the support anonymous binding
Other clients (ie pam_ldap, etc..) can connect to ldap with out issue but when 
kmail/kontact tries to, I get this as the log output from slapd.

failure) 

My kmail settings are...

host: ldap.qvxlabs.com
port: 636

dn = dc=qvxlabs,dc=com

security: SSL
Authentication: Anonymous


If anyone know how to resolve this issue or has any ideas, it would be greatly 
appreciated.
