I think there are multiple monitors for that. I you use the 'System Load 
Viewer' you can easily change the colors - just right-click the plasmoid and 
select 'system Load Viewer Settings'. - Besides, it's a good replacement for 
the old 'kill-skull' + 'top' - very easy to kill a misbehaving application.
