Flash Plugin says installed, but prompts for installation in firefox

Start by typing about:plugins in the Firefox addressbar. If the plugin 
isn't listed you can then look in the folders /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins 
or /usr/lib/xulrunner/plugins.
