Widget problem

I'm running 4.5.2 on a dual monitor setup with a single virtual desktop. I added a widget to the desktop on the primary monitor but when I dragged it the secondary monitor, it disappeared as thought is behind the desktop image. If I look to see what widgets are running in the Add Widgets tool, I can see the hidden widget, but there is no option to close it. 


Any ideas how to close a widget if you can't see it?
