Acer Apspire One 753 and Kubuntu

I was hoping that there was any other on this list had the same
machine or similar hardware.

It has an Intel Celeron U3400 CPU with integrated Graphics (Intel HD
Graphics). Arrandale it's called I think.
What I can see from searching the net, Arrandale should be supported
with the Kernel, Xorg and Intel versions in 10.10.
Booting from the LiveCD and checking the Xorg.0.log shows it is using
the intel driver.
So what makes it work from the LiveCD and not when installed?
