Kubuntu freezes when closing a session

I've made a fresh install of Kubuntu Maverick, and it's working good so far.

But I've noticed that, when closing a session (in order to return to login screen and log as a different user) it doesn't do the job. Instead, it frezes on a black screen with some text on top of it.

The text's last lines often indicates about energy saving or pulse audio closing, or others, but in order to make a new login, I've to restart Kubuntu again. That happened when I had Kubuntu Lucid also, both at my home and work computers, but its really annoying and after some time is simply stopped. But now, it happens every time.

Any ideas why?
