Nils,
Thank you so much for your quick response.
Under Edit Profiles > Perfomance > Actions (tab) I disabled the 2 check
boxes (disable desktop and dim display) and in the options below I always
chose "Do Nothing".
So I have the line: "When the system is idle for more than |99min| - Do
Nothing".
With exact these configurations I always got in trouble so far.

You can select the action what the machine should do after the timeout.
Instead of suspend you can select "do nothing" - then the machine should
stay alive.
