Power Management

Dear All:

I installed Kubuntu 10.04.1 last week on my Desktop.

I am working on this machine for a research study and doing MRI scans
segmentation. These processing steps take a long time, somehow 48h per
subject but I cannot see a chance how to run the system so long without
going to sleep and how to wake it up again.
Now I tried to let the processes run. My problem is that I cannot find a way
how to block the suspend mode. In the Power Management in System Settings I
chose the Profile Performance and I set the wait time before suspend actions
to 360min. Is there a way to disable suspend actions in general?

Thank you so much in advance.

Best regards,

Alexander
