copying VHS video tapes to DVD

I've never had any problems, I think it may have come from my VHS professional
player and  amp that I have in VHS output to connect multiple TV or Ubuntu
with kaffeine.

the solution is professional equipment followed by an amplifier VHS. Then a
video capture card on Ubuntu
