10.04 upgrade

OK. I did the upgrade and it went quite smooth. It took a while to download the updates probably 
due to server overload.
The only issue I had was with Wicd and KDE's insistence of installing Knetworkmanager along side 
of Wicd. I had to uninstall Knetworkmanager:
sudo aptitude remove network-manager-kde
then reboot for everything to come right.

Just before the initial reboot after the upgrade, I was asked if I wanted to remove redundant(?) 
packages - I said yes and all the old kernels were removed :-)

A happy camper....:-)
