Works fine too on acer notebook aspire 7220 and hp pavillion x3 phenom 
Just a little info : the first update after reboot didn't work so I
started with rescue kernel (second menu choice) then I run options dpkg
which clean and downloaded 45 new files after I reboot in normal way !
Very nice ubuntu this one ! I use it since alpha one ! (but i am not in
production : only for pleasure ! and on the edge dev...
