Dolphin instability

Dolphin crashes a few times a day. Sometimes out of the blue, sometimes when 
closing a file that was opened from Dolphin.

There is a window that mentions the crash, but the resulting backtrace is 
never useable.

At the expense of speed, I'm willing to install debug packages. What do I need 
to install in order to produce useful backtraces? Are there any guidelines 
from Project Timelord for things like this?
