Disbable point in the middel of the screen

And on my kubuntu desktop it killed all my open windows and permanently
killed my kde desktop.  Should have known better given the deadly skull
pointer.  Finally got a konsole screen using atl-tab and was able to
shutdown and restart which fixed it.  Please be careful with suggested
commands as this might discourage a newbie.
