DHClient is the thing in charge of getting an IP address via DHCP, but
that should only run once and exit AFAIK - don't know why it's still
running.

Init is the first process that runs, it controls the boot and shutdown
procedures and is the parent of all processes. If you kill this (which I
don't think is possible) your kernel will panic.
