Firefox installer crashing with ruby script error on 9.10/KDE 4.4

I have two desktops with Jaunty 9.10 all updates plus KDE SC 4.4 from
backports, one of them a clean install from yesterday. On both of them when
I run kubuntu-firefox-installer I get the following:

/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/KDE/korundum4.rb:597: [BUG] Segmentation fault
ruby 1.8.7 (2009-06-12 patchlevel 174) [i486-linux]

I can install firefox from apt easily enough myself but was curious if
anyone else had this problem and whether I should report it on launchpad.
