I realize that this reply is long-delayed; I have been in the hospital,
and I have only looked a short way ahead in my backlog of E-Mail. I
certainly hope that your problem is solved by now, but, if it is NOT --

Please tell us what you mean by the term "along the top of kmail". At
the very top of the application is a "Title Bar"; but it is obvious that
you are NOT referring to this.

Below the Title Bar is something called a "Menu Bar". The Menu Bar has
words like File, Edit, View, and so on. I am not aware of any way to
configure the Menu bar, although it may well exist!

Below the Menu Bar is something called by various names, including the
"Tool Bar". The Tool (or Icon) Bar is HIGHLY configurable; choose
"Settings" from the Menu Bar and then the next-to-bottom option on the
resulting drop-down menu.

If you are referring to some other place in the application interface,
please tell us more specifically what you are referring-to.

Hope this helps!
