problem converting to ext3 file system

Hello,

You cannot convert NTFS to ext3 partition.
You can delete your NTFS partition and then create ext3 partition
If you want to keep data from NTFS partition, then you need space for
new ext3 partition in order to copy under Linux data from NTFS to ext3
and then delete NTFS partition.

During Kubuntu installation, what is the error message?
