Just to add another particular: my laptop has just turned into suspended mode. 
This disactivated the network wireless card, that kde is not able to bring up 
again, so I had to switch to gnome to reactivate the wireless. Moreover, two 
emails I was writing has been completly lost (or if you know where they are 
let me know) because kmail is not saving drafts once emails are open (I 
remember it was doing it in previous releases).
