Duplicate sources.list entries

You might use the GUI as it was designed and go to
K -> Applications -> System -> Software Sources
Open the tab "Other Software" uncheck (untick in Commonwealth
countries) the duplicate sources.
This will help prevent unnecessary and dangerous entries
and deletions that can occur when you edit with a text
editor.   If you use the CLI (Command Line Interface) I recommend
that you first backup the Sources.List file in case of unrecoverable
error.
Also, Kubuntu was created as a GUI (Graphical User Interface)
to Linux and it is therefore okay to use the GU interface.
