Firefox Karmic freezing

I have seen many 'freezes' but a lot of them are due to some activity taking 
to long....   lookups, etc.    

I would suggest giving FF at least 3 minutes to decide what it is trying to do 
before assuming it has totally frozen.   A pain....  I know.
