Updating to the latest version of KDE

You're not tackling those problems by upgrading KDE.
- kfind is not a part of Dolphin. There might be problems with Nepumuk, but 
you really need to give more details, like error messages and what you did.
- wine is not related to KDE, so upgrading will certainly not help there.

Send separate mails to this list about your separate issues.

If you really want to upgrade, there are instructions on 
http://www.kubuntu.org/news (who thought it was a good idea to remove the news 
from the front page?)
I wouldn't recommend it if you are new. Some irritating bugs are fixed, but 
there are problems with Akonadi. Wait a few weeks for the version in Lucid.
