Glitches, probably after an update

Hi,

For the last few days, the following things have happened :

- the 'pager' widget where the desktops are isn't remembering my changes 
after reboot
- the keyboard repeat rate is setup at 220, I'm used to it but it seems 
that I need to reset it every reboot.  It's at 220 but I have to 
re-apply it to actually feel it.

I'm on Kubuntu/KDE 4.3.1.

Any idea why this is happening?
