samba on karmic KDE4

so i installed samba, installed samba4, and i still see no settings
for samba in systemsettings/shares. how can i configure samba? i tried
right-clicking a directory in dolphin, and click configure sharing, it
asks for password, but does nothing. i tried kcmshell4 to see what
stuff i can configure in it, no samba in the list.
eventually, i installed "system-config-samba" which is a GNOME
application, and used it to configure samba. doesn't KDE4 has a
similar program of its own?
