Actually this time I decided to do an dist-upgrade a little 
earlier (about three weeks ago) in order to prevent the 
usual server overload, when a new version comes out. I went 
through many upgrades, sometimes more that once, daily, and 
all I can say is that I can heartily recommend to use 
Kubuntu Karmic.
